If you have suffered a spontaneous miscarriage of two or more pregnancies before the 21st week, a series of studies will be carried out to determine the cause and, where appropriate, the treatment that is indicated in your case.
Age plays an important role in recurrent pregnancy losses, and most miscarriages are genetic in origin.
If it is of male origin, the following treatments may be suggested:
- Artificial Insemination with Donor Semen (AID).
- In Vitro Fertilization with Microinjection (IVF-ICSI).

The uterine factor can be corrected with surgery, and those of an endocrine, immunological or thrombophilic nature, with specific treatments for each case.
For implantation failures in IVF treatments, the endometrial factor can be evaluated with the Endometrial Receptivity Test.
