Ovodonation treatment explained step by step

First Visit

The first thing you must do to donate eggs is to arrange a consultation with us. It will be a short informative interview, so that you can understand in a more detailed way the whole process and it will also help us to know your health history. This will be the perfect moment for you to solve all your doubts without any kind of commitment.

Medical Examinations

After this informative interview, a series of medical tests will be performed to evaluate the suitability of your health status. This is done to confirm that your eggs are suitable, but also to make sure that you will not run any kind of risk. For fivmadrid, your safety comes first.

This part of the process includes: genetic and blood analysis, ultrasound and gynecological examination, karyotypes and psychological evaluation. All these studies will be done completely free of charge and will be the perfect opportunity for you to catch up with your health status.

Time for stimulation

Once this phase is over, you will proceed to the stimulation part. This is a hormone treatment that will stimulate the process of egg expulsion that your body already does naturally. This period lasts between 10 and 12 days and can be done perfectly from your home, although you can come to our clinic if you prefer to have it done by our doctors.

Follicular puncture

When the treatment is finished, it is time to extract the oocytes. For this, you just have to come to our clinic where we will perform the puncture, which lasts no more than 20 minutes. It will be done under sedation so that you do not feel any discomfort and then you will be under observation for 2 or 3 hours to confirm that everything went well.
